WISE is a nonprofit organization rooted in one of Boston’s most active and trusted Albanian immigrant women’s networks — the ‘Gocat e Boston’ community,  a women-only Facebook group of 4000+ members across the state of Massachusetts. This informal network has acted as a lifeline for immigrant women: sharing resources, responding to crises, crowdfunding for emergencies, and building resilience through support circles.
